Accounting Specialist

Our client, a successful Hamilton County-based tax and financial planning firm, has a rare opportunity to join their team as an Accounting Specialist.
This role will serve the team in various capacities primarily client-facing accounting & bookkeeping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Work closely with clients to maintain accurate financial records
- Input, review and / or verification of client accounting transactions
- Assisting with periodic preparation of financial reports
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Significant experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop / Enterprise
- QuickBooks Certification is a plus
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting systems
- Experience with 1099s, payroll, and / or property taxes is a plus
- Strong ability to build client relationships
- Strategic problem solver with excellent attention to detail
- Time management and communication skills
