Sr Finance Analyst

As a Sr Financial Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for our STS and UOP business unit within the Environmental and Energy Solutions (ESS) Strategic Business Group (SBG).
You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making .
Your work will directly contribute to the financial success of the SBG and help drive growth and profitability for the Sustainable Technology Solutions division;
a leader in renewable fuels, carbon capture and plastics circularity technologies. You will report directly to our STS CFO and you'll work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the financial performance of UOP by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, evaluate business performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in driving cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop financial models for proposed business development transactions including M&A, Joint Ventures and venture capital
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making
- Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate business performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities
- Provide insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and profitability
- Support the annual budgeting and planning process
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and analytical tools
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Experience in the sustainability, manufacturing or energy industry
- Business development and M&A exposure and knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
- Excellent critical thinking and presentation skills
