Maintenance Tech

Our company is looking for a talented and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for the preventative maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and repair for equipment and support systems in our food production facility.

Candidate will work with production to assure all customer orders can be fulfilled through high functioning equipment. Ideal candidate will have ability to troubleshoot breakdowns on food equipment such as slicers, dicers, weigh scales, and baggers.

Essential Functions :

• Troubleshoot automated equipment and perform calibration and system inspections.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer or company specifications.
• Install utilities (water, air, electric, etc.) for new equipment projects.
• Diagnostics of automated equipment including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and control circuits.
• Clearly documents work performed on job assignments for improvement analysis.
• Effective communication with all levels of the company.
• Works with production to improve equipment efficiency.
• Completes work orders as assigned

Required Qualifications :

• Able to interpret machine schematics, use all related equipment, hand and power tools.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Will follow all safety rules and procedures and operates equipment in accordance with established safety policies and department procedures.
• Willing to receive training for continued growth.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Two to five years of related industrial experience
• Welding, pump, blower, and gear box repair experience
• PLC and VFD diagnosis
• Industrial HVAC

Schedule :

• 10-hour shift (Sun-Wed; Wed-Sat)
• 2nd Shift 2 : 00 pm until midnight or production has completed their orders
