Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate High School Special Education / Intervention Specialist to join our team in Cleveland, OH.
The candidate will work with students with varying disabilities, providing individualized instruction and support to meet their unique educational needs.
This full-time position is aimed at fostering academic growth and development in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct instruction and interventions in both general and special education settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure student success.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Provide support for students in both push-in and pull-out models.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements :
- Active Special Education teaching license in Ohio.
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
- Experience with high school students and familiarity with various learning disabilities.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
