(Seasonal) IRA Cycle Counter-2nd Shift

Requirements

Responsibilities :

• Monitor system inventory screens to research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Cycle counting, bin audits, line side storage audits.
• Respond to business partner requests for assistance by physically checking on-hand inventory and compare to system.
• Research discrepant inventory and physically search for lost / misplaced inventory.
• Use RF device to perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with team supervisor.
• Communicate issues affecting inventory with direct team, supervisor, and business partners.
• Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Identify system and physical discrepancies with inventory and with team supervisor direction provide guidance on appropriate corrections to business partners.
• Provide support as needed with cycle counting audits, bin audits, line side storage audits.
• Other duties / projects as assigned.

Education and Experience :

• Education - High School diploma required.
• Analytical skills and experience required.
• 1-2 years' inventory control experience in Manufacturing, Wholesale, Distribution and Warehouse, Direct Marketing or Retail industry experience is required.

Working in food environment preferred.

• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications, including Excel required.
• Previous warehouse management system knowledge required, and relevant inventory systems experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-2 years' forklift and / or reach lift experience preferred.
