Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Monitor system inventory screens to research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Cycle counting, bin audits, line side storage audits.
- Respond to business partner requests for assistance by physically checking on-hand inventory and compare to system.
- Research discrepant inventory and physically search for lost / misplaced inventory.
- Use RF device to perform inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with team supervisor.
- Communicate issues affecting inventory with direct team, supervisor, and business partners.
- Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Identify system and physical discrepancies with inventory and with team supervisor direction provide guidance on appropriate corrections to business partners.
- Provide support as needed with cycle counting audits, bin audits, line side storage audits.
- Other duties / projects as assigned.
Education and Experience :
- Education - High School diploma required.
- Analytical skills and experience required.
- 1-2 years' inventory control experience in Manufacturing, Wholesale, Distribution and Warehouse, Direct Marketing or Retail industry experience is required.
Working in food environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications, including Excel required.
- Previous warehouse management system knowledge required, and relevant inventory systems experience preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- 1-2 years' forklift and / or reach lift experience preferred.
