Local Class A Delivery Driver

Monarch Distributing is hiring for a CDL Class A Delivery Driver in the Indianapolis area. We are looking for prospective candidates with at least 1 year of touch-freight delivery experience that would like to join Indiana's largest beer distributor.

This role is home daily and works Mon-Friday morning shift.

Position Title : Class A Delivery Driver

Shift : M-F Starting at 5am - until route is complete - off on Saturdays and Sundays

Pay : $80,000 1st year average earnings

Position responsibilities :

The Class A Driver is r esponsible for unl oading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

As a Class A Driver, you must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts

You will securely operate powered industrial trucks and / or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and / or hand truck

Additionally, you will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork

Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience :

Must be at least 21 years old

1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

Must possess a Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience :

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
