Detailed Job Duties : The Quality Assurance (QA) Analystis responsible for ensuring the developed solution meets thebusiness requirements is free of defects and the quality of theproduct / application is achieved.

The QA Analyst works independentlyto identify and defines the required tests as well as capturesdetailed testing progress defects and results during each testingcycle and evaluates the overall usability of the IT solution.

TheQA Analyst is a very handson role writing test cases and scriptsworking with product owners for approval of test cases sharing thetest cases with development team documenting test cases in theAzure DevOps tool testing interface applications and coordinatingtest results with the development and QA teams.

Agile testingexperience is a must for this position. Responsibilities : Participates in the requirement meetings and functional designdocument review meetings to understand the requirements to betterauthor the test cases for the Project.

Works closely with businessanalyst and business to clarify requirements. Prepares the projecttest plan; and test closure according to standard templates andadheres to DTMB and MDOT policies standards and guidelines.

Learnsnew tools identified for use on a Project. Prepares Test Scenarios(project based). Prepares test data and ensures the QA environmentis ready for test case execution including interfaces.

Prepares andexecutes test cases and maintains user story traceability againstthe user stories / requirements. Responsible for defect managementincluding identification of QAT defects and remediation tracking bymaintaining the traceability to user story Prepares and ensuresSprint Sign off after each sprint or as required and obtains signoff from product owners.

Works with UX / UI Designer of the Projectto assist them adding defect(s) or raise defects in their absence.Works closely with QA Specialist on complex Projects and on uniquedeliverables for the Project(s) Adheres to all QA processes andprocedures.

Ensures all QA responsible SEM documents identified forthe project are completed reviewed and approved in alignment witharea processes.

Skillsets Required : Experience performingquality assurance and software testing with a thoroughunderstanding of testing concepts and methods in manual andautomation.

Required : 4 Years Testing experience in theimplementation of Agile and Waterfall development projects. Required : 2 Years Experience writing and documenting testcases in DevOps or other Agile tools.
