About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care preferred License : Current and valid state RN License Certifications : - Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)- Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)- NRP Must-Have : NICU experience- Epic EMR experience preferred- COVID vaccination preferred Job Description : Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.- Direct and guide patient / family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, abnormal results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and / or response to treatment.- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- May need to float to units of competency.
