Desktop Support Technician
Vizergy, an award-winning hotel internet marketing firm, is seeking a talented Desktop Support Technician. An ideal Desktop Support Technician will be a detail conscious individual who wants to work with a dynamic, industry leading team.
The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for the support of the entire end-user computing environment. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the Jacksonville, FL area.
J OB R ESPONSIBILITIES
- Workstations Deployment, maintenance and operation of computer systems, printers, and peripherals
- Ensuring optimal workstation performance
- Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning
- Management of active directory accounts, Office 365 mailboxes, VoIP handsets
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis
- Server backups and testing of backups
- Network security and anti-virus
- Manage software licensing
- Develop and maintain system standards with supporting documentation (SOPs)
E XPERIENCE & S KILLS
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Troubleshooting software and network issues
- Experience with Windows 10
- Experience with Microsoft Surface devices and iMacs
- Experience with supporting remote users
- Ability and strong desire to learn new and emerging technologies
- Desire to make things better
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Exceptional customer support for fellow employees and clients
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Excels as a member of a team
- Periodic night and weekend hours may be required
- College degree or actively working towards a degree
P LUSES
- 1+ years of experience in Desktop and end-user support
- Knowledge of DNS and Networking
- Hybrid Azure Active Directory
- Knowledge of domain join process
- Experience with Office 365 services
- Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM software)
- IT asset management / deployment application experience
- VoIP phone system experience
- Web conferencing application experience (Microsoft Teams)
- A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications
