Global e-commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices.

Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, active and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

The Open Platform team opens all the internal capabilities as OpenAPI for all kinds of external Partners (ISV / TSP / MCN) to use.

The team also owns all the 1P connectors - aka integration platform to integrate with all top tier partners, such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Channel Advisor to integrate with TTS eco system.

In addition, the team owns the Partner Center, App Store and TSP Portal to bridge all kinds of e-commerce applications / services and all merchants.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for building up and managing the Global E-Commerce Open Platform team in the US.
• Responsible for designing the architecture of technical solutions and providing technical support for engineers in the team.
• Align with product and org objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results.
• Define long term technical roadmap for the team.
• Contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years managing or tech-leading a software engineering team.
• 5+ years of large scale backend system development experience.
• Strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading initiatives to automate tasks and improve efficiency and quality is preferred.
• Experience in cost management and optimization, supported by a record of data-driven decision-making and process improvement is preferred.
