On-Call Therapist

Kartini Clinic
Portland, OR, USA
Full-time
Quick Apply

Kartini Clinic, a nationally recognized pediatric eating disorder clinic, is seeking an experienced on-call therapist who has experience working with children and adolescents.

This position works well for mental health providers who have their own private practice, a part-time job or a flexible schedule.

It's a wonderful opportunity to receive training in eating disorders and work with an energetic, knowledgeable team.

Our clinic provides medical and mental health support for children and adolescents. Essential skills include demonstrable clinical judgement, good organization skills, and a team player attitude.

Previous milieu work, DBT skills, and familiarity with Epic are a plus.

Responsibilities include :

  • Monitoring treatment plan compliance, including the meal plan prescription
  • Insurance clinical updates, as required
  • Providing coverage for other Kartini Clinic family therapists, as needed
  • Facilitating therapeutic groups

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health field (QMHA), Master's Degree preferred (QMHP)
  • Experience with Google apps
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Epic experience preferred
  • CPR certified (if hired)
  • Background check (if hired)
  • This is a smoke-free environment
