We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Controller to join our dynamic team in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with extensive experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide leadership and ensure the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day financial activities.

responsibilities :
- Prepare timely financial and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Manage cash flow and oversee cash management processes
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Develop and maintain accounting schedules
- Oversee the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day financial activities
- Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff
- Execute the full cycle month-end close process
- Implement and manage job cost accounting
- Manage accrual processes
- Participate in budget and forecasting activities
- Utilize strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
Skills and Competencies :
- In-depth understanding of GAAP
- Strong cash management skills
- Proficiency in audit processes
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed accounting schedules
- Proven leadership capabilities to manage and motivate accounting staff
- Exceptional Excel skills for advanced financial analysis
- Expertise in job cost accounting and full cycle month-end close processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
qualifications :
Minimum Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification
Minimum Candidate Experience :
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance
- 5+ years of management experience
- 2+ years of experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution (inventory) environment
Additional Preferences :
3 years of public accounting experience
