We are seeking a talented Web Developer with IT experience to join our growing team and help us maintain and expand our online presence.

Position Overview : As a Web Developer with IT experience, you will play a critical role in managing our online platforms and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

You will work closely with our marketing, sales, and operations teams to develop and maintain websites, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement new features to enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and update website content, including e-commerce features, product listings, and promotional materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website performance, hosting, and security.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, ensuring high availability and security.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and rankings.
• Monitor website analytics and performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure websites are fully compliant with legal and accessibility standards.
• Stay updated on the latest web development and IT trends to recommend and implement new technologies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and familiarity with back-end technologies (PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, etc).
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Dutchie, Shopify, WooCommerce).
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and security protocols.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in the cannabis industry or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of UX / UI design principles.
