Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mission Engagement Regional Manager to join our team in the DMV area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Oversees the daily operations, management, and execution ofTDLs within a geographic area

As directed by the Government, they are initially responsible for the seamless transition of any active TDLs within the region that will continue execution under the Task Order, ensuring appropriate Government and legacy contractor knowledge transfer, coordinated staffing assignments and alignment, and efficient TDL execution to meet prescribed execution goals and milestones

Effective management and support of newly assigned TDLs within their region for execution, ensuring identified technical, programmatic, staffing, and delivery challenges and issues are promptly brought to the attention of the Program Manager and the technical leadership staff, to include oversight and coordination of required deliverables

Coordinate responses and solutions with relevant stakeholders in accordance with the established guidelines

Remain knowledgeable of their assigned region's support needs that might be addressed within the project scope, bringing identified potential TDL opportunities to the attention of program leadership for execution consideration

Provide leadership and mentoring to assigned staff while executing TDLs within their region and supervise and mentor subordinate project staff

Report to the Deputy Program Manager. Collaborate and work with other Mission Engagement Regional Manager IIIs

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree

Five or more (5+)years of position-specific relevant experience

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Expertise with management tools such as MS Project

If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required

If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's degree

Relevant industry standard certifications such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

Knowledge and familiarity with customers and programs within their region

Clearance Requirements :

This position requires an active TS / SCI clearance

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
