Join WITRON as Health and Safety Manager!

We are looking for a strong Health and Safety Manager to maintain and enhance safety standards nationwide. You will ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations, provide essential training, and implement initiatives to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety.

As a Health and Safety Manager you will :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive safety policies, risk assessments, and procedures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct safety training sessions, perform safety inspections, and create emergency response plans.
  • Investigate workplace incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Ensure proper documentation and legal compliance for all accidents.
  • Collaborate with the construction management team to review project activities and design safety procedures affecting construction projects.
  • Lead and train Health and Safety professionals on site and be the main contact for critical incident management and regulatory agency audits.
  • Oversee MHE training for employees, equipment inspections, and operations monitoring.
  • Conduct management-level reviews for Workers Compensation and Safety Inspections.
  • Compile statistical data and present technical reports on safety performance.
  • Work closely with all sites to ensure that safety policies are seamlessly integrated into all business operations.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industrial or construction safety, automated warehouse safety, machinery manufacturer safety, or a related field.
  • Five (5) plus years of experiences managing safety in operational or functional support roles, ideally in warehouse / distribution / logistics environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, ASME, ANSI, and ISO regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety principles, accident prevention, and safety equipment.
  • Experience with MHE operations, training, and inspections.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface and plan with management and legal teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
