Job Overview : LCG is seeking an experienced Application Programmer (Mid) - AppData Analytics (PowerBI) Developer. This role is crucial for advancing the client security mission to improve vulnerability management (VM) across NIH.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining analytics solutions, enhancing operational processes, and supporting technical projects related to the client.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures for effective Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the client security program.
  • Implement Requirements Management, Code Management / Version Control, Project Management (SAFe Framework), Test Management, Training, and Release / Change Control Management.
  • Develop FISMA artifacts (e.g., SSP, e-Auth, FIPS-199) for the client security site.
  • Officially launch and support the client security site.
  • Re-formulate and manage the client security Working Group, including scheduling and prioritizing fixes and enhancements.
  • Explore the formulation of a Governance Body for change request approvals.
  • Set up and maintain back-end tools (e.g., Jira, O365 Planner) for managing incident / service requests.
  • Integrate and enhance interconnectivity with the NIH PowerBI Vulnerability Management (VM) Dashboard Security Center.
  • Collect, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to client use and adoption rates.
  • Contribute to exploring and improving the Cybersecurity VM landscape.
  • Assist client with patch management, configuration management, and tool migration / upgrades.
  • Upload high-priority fixlets to the client repository.
  • Publish articles and updates on CVEs, KEVs, and BOD / EDs.
  • Review and prioritize trans-client VM data to provide guidance and support to client.
  • Participate in technical discussions and presentations on topics related to security maintenance and metrics.
  • Provide additional support as needed for specialized projects related to SharePoint and PowerBI development.
  • Offer surge support for enterprise patch management expertise if required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in application programming and PowerBI development.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience with the SAFe Framework, Jira, O365 Planner, and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with NIH-specific systems and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint development and management.
  • Certifications related to security, project management, or data analytics (e.g., PMP, CISM, or similar) preferred.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with FISMA requirements and development of associated artifacts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $91,900 to $124,825 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

The Target Salary is $107,200. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education / training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
