Evoke is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team!
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets from various sources (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, AWS) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI to provide data-driven insights for business decisions.
- Collaborate with the database team to design, implement, and optimize ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple databases and data pipelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver data analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation for database structures, data processes, and reporting workflows.
- Participate in database performance tuning and optimization efforts in collaboration with database administrators and engineers.
- Conduct data quality audits and provide recommendations for improvements in data management processes.
Professional Experience and Skills :
- Advanced experience in creating interactive dashboards and visual report with PowerBI and more.
- Proficiency with ETL processes and tools for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- Strong experience working with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, and cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS RDS).
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting data issues.
- Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and ensuring data integrity across various systems.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with database administrators and engineers.
- Meticulous in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data analysis and reports.
Education and Years of Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
- Experience working in environments with complex data systems, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and cloud infrastructure like AWS, is highly preferred.
- Certifications in PowerBI, AWS, or SQL Database Management.
- Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
