Overview
Responsible for the development and management of the strategy, products, and service model for the National Retirement Sales organization, ensuring the achievement of quota & profit / margin objectives.
Provides direction, guidance, and development to these teams in order to accomplish established business targets including profitability, client retention, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Manages Retirement Sales Directors and their organizations in order to exceed the company established quotas for the geographic responsibility within the United States.
- Formulates and recommends plans, policies, goals and objects for Area sales activities.
- Defines and executes ongoing enhancements to the value proposition, service strategy, and pricing approach of the National Retirement Services suite to support client satisfaction and future revenue attainment.
- Oversees and becomes directly involved in the recruitment of superior management talent. Recruits, selects, hires and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure departmental needs are handled.
- Conducts systematic quarterly and ongoing reviews of zone / district sales activities to ensure achievement of goals. Provides feedback and tools for Sales Management and Sales Representatives to use in achievement of quota.
- Collaborates frequently and effectively with other critical organizations and senior level management within Paychex in order to continuously improve the performance of the division and to drive necessary improvements in other functions.
- Develops the fiscal operating budget and headcount plans and once approved adheres to both for cost control and budget attainment.
- Keeps abreast of current events in the relevant legislation and implements changes that keep clients in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develops expert knowledge of the Paychex service technology platforms and helps develop the optimal approach to migrating and onboarding new and existing clients to the platforms.
- Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the positions function.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $175,000.
00 to $265,000.00 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
