Regional Medical Director Urgent Care

Greater Houston Area Memorial Hermann , one of the nation's leading health care providers, and GoHealth Urgent Care , an on-demand consumer-centric care company, partnered in 2022 to operate a network of urgent care centers across the Greater Houston area.
We provide a different type of Urgent Care experience for our dedicated providers who are doing the work they love. Our practice model brings together board-certified Physicians and Advanced Practitioners in innovative treatment centers, with the resources and support of Memorial Hermann behind them.
We are the front door to quality connected care. We are seeking a Regional Medical Director who uses quality metrics, relationship management, and care protocols to improve the performance and outcomes within the Urgent Care setting.
Someone who can lead, build relationships and establish credibility with physicians and other providers. Must have a proven track record of being that champion through implementing strategies designed to improve outcomes and lower the cost of care.
Must be knowledgeable in reinforcing and modeling a culture that emphasizes complimentary and coordinated care in the best interest of the patient. HIGHLIGHTS :
- Direct and identify best practice standards including establishing clinical policies, procedures, rules, regulations and methods of operation related to the Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care network.
- Establish quality metrics and initiate process improvement programs.
- Support Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care network's strategy to increase exposure and to enhance the image of the Program to health care providers and residents.
- Participates in recruitment, provider qualification and training, maintenance of competencies, proficiency testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible to : Health System Medical Group VP / Chief Medical Officer and collaborates with Chief Medical Officer GoHealth Urgent Care (CMO).
- Collaborates across and within regions to share resources, implement improvement initiatives, and optimize clinical, financial, operational and customer service performance.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical leadership / administrative experience preferred in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system, required.
- Ability to analyze clinical data and convey findings in an effective manner to elicit change.
- Successful track record of building, developing and leading high-performing medical teams .
- Outstanding oral and written communication.
- Proven track record of flexibility and fluidity in managing many responsibilities.
- Effective team leadership and performance management skills.
- Possesses the tenure, knowledge, and skillset necessary to bring authority to new and existing relationships, both internal and external.
Required Licenses / Certifications :
- Must have current state medical licenses at time of start.
- Current Board-Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or combined Med / Peds.
