Job Description

As a Relationship Manager in the Mountain West region, you will play a key role in promoting Rabo AgriFinance to farmers and producers in one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world.

Your role on the team will be to acquire new clients and work with existing clients to achieve the return objectives of the region.

You and Your Job

Relationship managers are responsible for acquiring new customers while expanding or retaining existing customers. The expectation is that the RM is the face of Rabo AgriFinance to the regional market while being comfortable introducing teammates to ensure a positive experience for customers.

Responsible for the business development and customer management in an assigned area, sector or market segment. You will provide agricultural investment and advisory services to existing and potential customers for the Bank.

Find solutions for customer needs through offering banking products and services. Evaluate customer's needs, assess customer's eligibility and suitability for certain products and negotiate acceptable product solutions utilizing product specialists as needed.

Works with the Financial Analysts to assure accurate presentation of the customer request and ensures their request is within the credit policies and procedures established by the company.

Recommends customer requests and applications to the Credit department for approval.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned portfolio focused on meeting the needs of the customer with profitable returns top of mind.
  • Target top farmers / producers in Mountain West region identifying lending and other cross-sell opportunities.
  • Network with CPAs, attorney's and other industry professionals to build COI relationships Represent RAF at industry events.

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in ag lending or related services
  • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with external and internal clients.
  • Strong passion for agriculture.
  • Sound understanding of agriculture and lending.
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate, market, and sell Rabo AgriFinance products.
  • Ability to set goals, manage priorities and achieve objectives with minimal direction from others
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 35%

Salary Expectations :

Target Hiring Range : $69,000.00 - $100,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of RAF / Rabobank / RDS 's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range.

The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.

Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to RAF / Rabobank / RDS employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
