Purpose of Position :
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the senior administrative partner to the Rabbi and Board President and is responsible for managing the synagogue’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
The ED develops, implements, and manages internal processes and systems. The ED participates in setting annual and longer-range plans and leads the staff towards successful execution of those plans.
Reporting Structure :
The ED is accountable to the Board of Directors and reports to the Board President. The ED shares responsibility with the Board President and the Rabbi for ensuring that plans are developed in-line with the congregation’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic Goals.
The ED serves as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. The ED is responsible for deploying staff to achieve the items outlined in the job while staying within the personnel budget approved by the board.

Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
