Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a Family Law Legal Assistant to join our growing team to assist our attorneys with drafting documents, creating and responding to discovery requests, attending hearings, depositions, mediations and trials, and various other duties assigned.
This is a full-time IN-OFFICE position.

Compensation :
$41,000 - $50,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities :
- Meet with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases
- Conduct interviews of clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including gathering and organizing documents, evaluating documents for relevance and privilege, and redacting sensitive information
- E-file pleadings and motions according to local judicial procedures
- Assist attorneys with hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparations
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials when needed
- Maintain accurate record of billable hours
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of Texas Family Law experience (required for Legal Assistants)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications
- Proficient with Adobe DC
- Experience with Clio (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times
Compensation
