The Accounting Manager will lead a dynamic team of property accountants, ensuring timely and precise task management and completion.

Job Duties of the Accounting Manager :
- Lead a team responsible for all accounting functions and financial reporting.
- Understand the financial reporting and general ledger structure for various investors and third-party owners.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Review the general ledger for accuracy.
- Review monthly recurring journal entries for accuracy and applicability.
- Oversee month-end close accounting and review .
- Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and internal policies.
- Review all financial reporting packages for accurate presentation to investors / owners.
- Advise staff on handling non-routine reporting transactions.
- Support annual audits .
- Support annual budgeting activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to enhance department workflow.
Position Requirements for the Accounting Manager :
- Multi-family property management accounting or real estate accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license or CPA eligibility a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Cash, General Ledger, and Financial Statement preparation and review.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with the RealPage Accounting Platform preferred.
