Level III Trauma Center; Teaching Facility

Near Gladys Porter Zoo & National Wildlife Refuge

Common Diagnosis / Treatment : DKA, Trauma, bronchitis, appendicitis, cellulitis, pancreatitis, osteomyelitis, diabetes, RSV, COVID-19, dehydration, fever, Kawasaki disease, Chron's, BRUE, flu, tonsillectomy,

# of Beds : 14

Nurse Patient Ratio : 1-2

Charting : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy blue

Areas of Float Support : Pedi and NBICU

Special Procedures : CVL care, Trach care, GT care, ventilator care, intubated patients, IV medication drips and titrations.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, PICU

Experience : 1 year

RN(Compact Accepted)

Certifications : BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; PALS-AHA; NRP-AHA

SSN Required
