AbouttheJob!

TheDirector of Sales is responsible for leading our sales team at JDIDistribution. You will need to have product knowledge andpromotional skills and insight.

Develop a deep understanding of ourproduct line and effectively communicate the value proposition tocustomers. Create compelling sales presentations promotionalmaterials and sales collateral to showcase our products and drivesales.

Provide strategic leadership to the sales team ensuringalignment with company goals and manage and mentor remote andinoffice sales representatives to achieve targets through regularreviews goal setting and training programs.

Develop and executestrategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in thefood and beverage industry informed by market trends andcompetitive analysis while building strong relationships with keystakeholders and collaborating with marketing and productdevelopmentteams.

WhatYou WillDo :

  • Developand execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenuetargets and expand market share in the baking and breweryindustries.
  • Identifyand prioritize sales opportunities market trends and customer needsto drive salesgrowth.
  • Leadcoach and mentor a team of five sales representatives to achieveindividual and team salesgoals.
  • Provideguidance and support to remote and inoffice sales representativesincluding regular performance reviews andgoalsetting.
  • Buildand maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensuresatisfaction andloyalty.
  • Identifyand cultivate relationships with new customers including bakeriesbreweries and other relevant businesses to expand our customerbase.
  • Developa deep understanding of our product line and effectivelycommunicate the value proposition tocustomers.
  • Createcompelling sales presentations promotional materials and salescollateral to showcase our products and drivesales
  • Conductsales meetings presentations and negotiations with customers toclose deals and securecontracts.
  • Utilizeexcellent verbal and written communication skills to communicatewith customers effectively and internalstakeholders.

  • Requirements

    Requirements :

    • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field; MBAis aplus.
    • Minimumof 5 years of sales experience in the food industry with a focus onthe baking and brewerysectors.
    • Proventrack record of achieving sales targets and driving revenuegrowth.
    • Strongleadership and team management skills with experience managingremote and inofficeteams.
    • Excellentverbal and written communication skills with the ability toeffectively present and negotiate withcustomers.
    • Strategicthinker with the ability to analyze market trends and developactionable salesstrategies.
    • Proficiencyin CRM software and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
