Our growing national construction firm seeks Saint Petersburg, Florida area based Field Construction Superintendents for exterior multi-family renovation project.

Our services spread throughout the Multi-family, Senior Housing, Student Housing and Low Income Tax Credit Housing Industries .

General Position Description :

Initial responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring high-quality results through the supervision of subcontractors and suppliers related to field construction.

• Responsibilities include : maintaining a safe work environment; presenting safety meetings; conducting safety inspections;
• ensuring quality workmanship in accordance to project documents; quality control; executing work according to project schedule;
• preparing daily logs; and providing timely / accurate reports from the field. In addition, you may be asked to assist with : negotiating and preparing subcontract agreements;
• managing and securing materials; preparing purchase orders; preparing and tracking project schedules; preparing production budgets;

tracking costs vs budgets; approving vendor invoices; and serving as liaison between our customer and Whitestone.

Project Description :

The project we are seeking a Field Construction Supervisor is located in St. Petersburg. It is an exterior multi-family, 5-story renovation project consisting of cladding replacement (EIFS), waterproofing, window / door re-installation, framing / sheathing replacement, roofing, etc.

This project is expected to have an 18-month duration, but we are looking for team members that can be a part of our organization long term.

Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements :

• Customer-focused mentality
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Able to work independently
• 5-7 years of construction experience
• Experience with exterior renovation (cladding / waterproofing) is preferred
• Advanced knowledge with an eye for quality workmanship in the construction industry
• Budgeting / forecasting experience, and general accounting knowledge strongly preferred
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Valid driver license with dependable transportation required
• Background check will be required
• Travel may be required.
• Flexibility to work an ever-changing schedule (evenings, holidays, weekends may be required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project is strongly preferred
• Certification in OSHA (10 Hours) Safety Training strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
• Construction Management Degree a plus
• Procore experience a plus
• Multifamily experience a plus
• Reconstruction experiences a plus
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus
• Based in the Tampa Bay or St. Pete, Florida area a plus
