Overview

Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Clinical Lab Scientist performs a range of standard and / or technically demanding procedures in one or more of the Clinical Laboratory disciplines exercising initiative and independent judgment.

Communicates technical or general information to their manager, director, & medical staff. Participates in administrative activities.

Provides expertise and serves as a technical resource for others. May provide functional supervision to support staff. The Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Laboratory handles all cell therapy products for transplantation at CHLA.

We also receive, process, and release all Immune Effector Cells for the hospital.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 1+ year of relevant clinical experience.

Requirements :

  • Aseptic Technique experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Compliance with local regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

Education / Licensure / Certifications : Bachelor's degree in biology or related science required.

Pay Scale Information

$84,656.00-$146,151.00

CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
