About The Position
- Job Title : Pharmacist Outpatient Job Specialty : Cancer Center Pharmacy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (06 : 00 - 14 : 30);
- Day 4x10-Hour (10 : 00 - 20 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Active state license required Certifications : PharmD;
Preferred : BCPS, Board Certified Ambulatory Care / Outpatient Must-Have : - Experience in inpatient / acute care- Chemotherapy experience- IV piggyback and sterile technique skills Job Description : - Comfortable working in an IV room and checking off chemotherapy products- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently- Shifts vary between 5x8s and 4x10s from 06 : 00 to 20 : 30- Weekend shift coverage required every third weekend- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required with exemptions for medical / religious reasons- Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions onlyCandidates will float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals based on census and unit requirements.
Orientation is a total of 12 hours.
