- 8 to 10 years of experience or training in the aerospace industry.
- Requires experience in heat treatment and plating manufacturing processes.
- Competence in reading and understanding safety guidelines, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Capable of drafting routine reports and professional correspondence.
- Effective public speaking skills for addressing customers and employees.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and work with basic algebra and geometry.
- Problem-solving skills for handling practical challenges in environments with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret diverse instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
- Proficiency in MRP System Manufacturing software, along with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required, with employment eligibility verification at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production operations.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by prioritizing quality and on-time delivery.
- Oversee the activities of Manufacturing Managers, Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, Leads, and Operators.
- Foster a culture of employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement through leadership.
- Develop and manage manufacturing operations plans that encompass program requirements, labor, cycle times, production costs, and overall business objectives.
- Contribute to product strategy development and the research and development of new products.
- Establish production and quality control standards, develop budgets and cost controls, and gather data on product specifications and delivery timelines.
- Guide the creation of manufacturing process plans, including personnel, materials, subcontracting, facilities, tooling, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure that cost, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met.
