Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Fast-paced, high volume emergency department is looking for top skilled nurse. Is that you?-

Work location : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours : Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs / week. Weekend and holiday requirements

  • Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 200 patients / day

Here's What You Need :

  • Diploma Nurse or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required.
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • One year of emergency department experience in a hospital setting as a staff RN strongly preferred.
  • RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra / interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care.

  • Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, physical, psychological and social needs.
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Demonstrates knowledge of patient rights and incorporating into daily practice
  • Mutual Problem Solving - Professional behaviors that help patients and families understand how to confront, learn about, and think about their health and illness.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and / or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
