Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic in Commerce, CA!

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will :

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues.
• Diagnose mechanical defects using touch, sight, and sound; repair equipment following GMP and safety procedures.
• Proactively inspect equipment and report any issues for corrective action.
• Safely operate shop tools and equipment to repair or fabricate parts.
• Manage work orders, gather parts and tools, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and job safety regulations

The ideal candidate will have :

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of electrical components and wiring .
• Valid Driver's License / Clean driving record

Will require travel to various locations across LA

Shift : 6am-2 : 30pm Schedule : Sunday-Thursday (Friday & Saturday OFF)

Pay : $30-36 / hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
