Job Description

Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive environment?

Join our in-house therapy team at Carriage Hill Bethesda, where we specialize in short-term rehab and are dedicated to providing top-tier care to our patients.

About Us :

At Carriage Hill Bethesda we pride ourselves on our in-house rehab program, serving a fast-paced short-term rehab unit with 30-40 skilled patients at any given time.

We believe in a collaborative, team-centered approach to care, allowing our clinicians the autonomy and flexibility they need to best serve their patients.

Unlike contract-based programs, you’ll be a valued part of a cohesive, long-standing team that is committed to both patient outcomes and professional growth.

Position Highlights :

  • PRN Position with Growth Potential : This role starts as PRN, but with our growing caseload, the opportunity for full-time status is within reach.
  • Diverse Caseload : Work with a variety of patients requiring short-term rehab, making every day unique and professionally rewarding.
  • Collaborative Environment : Work alongside a talented interdisciplinary team, in a facility that values communication and holistic care.
  • Flexible Scheduling : Ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic rehab setting or balance other professional commitments.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s rehab goals.
  • Collaborate with other therapy professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current SLP license in Maryland.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or short-term rehab setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient-centered care.

Why Join Us?

  • In-House Therapy Team : Work for a facility that values continuity of care and team collaboration.
  • Opportunity for Growth : As our department expands, there’s potential to transition from PRN to full-time.
  • Supportive Leadership : Be a part of a department led by experienced rehab professionals who are invested in your success.

Interested candidates, please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected]

We look forward to hearing from you!
