The Department of Computer Science seeks candidates for a full-time, benefited, one (1) year Instructor or Assistant Professor position.

The successful candidate will :
- Teach 12 contact hours per semester of computer science classes.
- Advise undergraduates and perform departmental service as required.
- Possess the ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning, a demonstrated capacity for scholarly activity, excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as a commitment to public higher education.
Successful candidates will be faculty members who can work with their colleagues to help meet the mission of the department in serving and supporting our racially and ethnically diverse campus community.
MS in Computer Science or closely related field.
Knowledge or experience in software engineering and an interest in teaching software engineering is highly preferred.
PhD in Computer Science or closely related field preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.
