As the Contracts Manager you will have the opportunity to :
Serve as the initial point person in S2P for all 3rd Party Vendor Contract requests.
Responsible for drafting, editing, and negotiating contracts to achieve the most favorable outcomes for the organization.
Assist with the planning and implementation of the new contract management system, including training all staff on the use of the contract management system.
Lead 3rd party outsourced contract management team, providing oversight and responsible for monitoring contract performance and delivering modifications and close-out procedures at termination.
Create policies and procedures for applications and users.
Serve as a direct point of contact and primary system administrator for the contract management system.
Conducts training on contracting principles, system usage, and creating and reading / editing of contracts.
Creates and maintains contracting dashboards, compliance reporting, and major contracting timelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Administer user access privileges and user roles.
Design and implement system process workflows.
Coordinate new releases of the application from the vendor.
The skills and experience required for this role are
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience working in a legal or procurement role,
Experience in the implementation of and working with a contract management system is required.
Ability to draft, edit, and analyze contractual agreements and summarize in a concise manner.
Demonstrated negotiation skills are required; a background in negotiating service agreements or purchase of goods contracts is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of contracting principles, commercial contract language, and legal terms and conditions required.
Ability to run a program for monitoring, amending, and closing out agreements.
Should have a strong client focus, with the ability to quickly assimilate, build internal business relationships, understand internal customer requirements, and translate those requirements into work product.
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, able to work under pressure, and flexible in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations.
Very high level of organizational and time management skills required.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation.
Excellent consulting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills.
