Sterling Engineering is working with a large civil engineering firm on bringing in a Traffic Engineer to join their team.
This company is known for its cross-functional roles and exceptional culture. This organization is located in downtown Chicago.
Salary for this role will be from 80-100k.
Overview of Job :
- Provide operations analysis for Traffic Impact Studies, Corridor Studies, Multi-modal studies, and similar technical / safety assessments.
- Provide intersection improvement and associated roadway improvement recommendations including Intersection Design Studies (IDS)
- Bicycle and pedestrian facility recommendations
- Conduct safety assessments
- Traffic signal design
- Arterial ITS Design
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of traffic engineering experience
- Civil Engineering Related Degree
- Experience with traffic signal design, traffic signal timing, traffic signing plans, work zone traffic control and various traffic related studies
