About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Surgical Technician - OR / Peri Operative Float Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours weekly, 5x8 hour shifts Experience : Experience with DaVinci robot License : Not specified Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes from being called Job Description : Perform surgical technician duties in the operating room.
- Provide perioperative support and assist during surgeries.- Float between different operating rooms as needed.- Participate in on-call rotation every 2-3 weekdays from 3 : 30 PM to 7 : 30 AM.
- Be on-call for 48 hours every 2-3 weekends from 7 : 30 AM Saturday to 7 : 30 AM Monday.- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all surgical instruments are prepared and functional.- Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Support other technicians and nurses as required during surgical procedures.
