Broadmoor East Veterinary Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian and Surgeon to join our collaborative, tight-knit team. In our non-corporate environment, you’ll have the freedom to make medical decisions based on your clinical judgment and the needs of your patients, without the constraints of rigid protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Treat, and prevent an array of diseases and illnesses for both small and exotic animals
  • Conduct tests and observations to provide a proper diagnoses
  • Prescribe necessary medications
  • Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases
  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures
  • Perform spay and neuter surgeries
  • Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other staff to provide top-notch care to customers
  • Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule (approximately 1 week / month)

Qualifications

DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Wyoming

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred

Proficiency in small animal and exotic medicine required

Interest in orthopedic and emergency care is a plus

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Availability for occasional Saturdays and rotating on-call duty

A team-oriented approach and a genuine passion for animal care
