About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys working across different areas of the tech stack, and is passionate about innovation.

As a Software Engineer at Voltai, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams, including AI, machine learning, backend, frontend, and product teams, to build cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of hardware innovation.

This role will allow you to work across both backend infrastructure and frontend user experiences, contributing to the overall development of our AI-powered systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work across multiple parts of the tech stack, contributing to both backend and frontend systems.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and AI / ML teams to design and develop scalable software solutions.
• Assist in the development of our backend infrastructure to support the world's largest dataset for semiconductors and electronics.
• Implement AI models and integrate them into our software stack to create groundbreaking applications.
• Participate in data curation and assist with building data pipelines for AI training and inference.
• Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of software systems across different platforms.
• Develop robust, secure, and efficient APIs that integrate AI capabilities.
• Contribute to both product development and system architecture decisions.

Required Skill Sets :

• Proven experience as a software engineer , with the ability to work across multiple areas of the tech stack.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, C++, or C , and experience in building scalable systems.
• Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript, React, or Angular .
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Ability to develop and maintain secure APIs and ensure seamless integration with AI-driven systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges across various domains.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have :

• Background in Electrical Engineering or a keen interest in semiconductors and hardware innovation.
• Experience integrating AI / ML models into software applications.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
• Previous experience as an early engineer at a startup or hyper-growth company.

Compensation Philosophy

At Voltai, we believe exceptional work deserves exceptional rewards. Our compensation structure reflects the value each team member brings to our pioneering efforts in the semiconductor and AI industries.

For this role, we anticipate the starting annual base salary to be within the range of $150,000 to $350,000 , adjusted according to the candidate's experience, expertise, and impact potential.

The final offer may vary to ensure alignment with individual contributions and the long-term success of our mission.
