Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Conducts assessments to document history and to develop and implement a plan of treatment.
Conducts sessions for patients and family members on a consistent basis and reflects adequate preparation. Demonstrates the ability to deliver individual, couples, family and group therapy utilizing the 12-step philosophy.
Participates in Discharge Process per the relapse prevention plan with patients and their family members to make appropriate family recommendations Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Working knowledge of 12-step program.
Education and Experience - Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field required. GA Licensure required (LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LCSW) Minimum 3-5 years experience in mental health or substance abuse field.
