Job Description

Essential Functions

The Pricing Analyst will support work streams related to Visa Inc.’s pricing strategy and broader corporate initiatives, with focus on client deal pricing and strategy.

You will help develop pricing frameworks and tools to support our business on our most strategic deals. The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities.

Your work will be highly visible to leadership and will drive key insights for management discussions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership / site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Superior analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Ability to handle multiple project work streams, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems.
  • Ability to work independently, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to build rigorous, fact-bases that support recommendations to senior management, other executive management
  • Eagerness to work intensively in joint teams with personnel of all levels to accomplish project objectives.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications.

Additional Information

Work Hours : Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements : This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental / Physical Requirements : This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,000.00 to 138,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
