The Inside Sales Support Generalist position supports Outside Sales & Purchasing along with management of an assigned book of Inside Sales Accounts.
This person will be responsible for daily interactions with key customers primarily in food products. This role involves order entry, facilitation of the on boarding process for customers.
This role will be responsible for achieving both revenue and margin targets for assigned accounts while increasing penetration.
The Inside Sales Support Generalist will collaborate and assist with several departments and positions to increase sales while supporting program efforts for the aforementioned product specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Prospect, set up, and manage direct ship to customers. This includes determining availability, forecasting inventories, negotiating pricing, and arranging delivery of the product.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet the needs of specific customer channels.
- Consult and advise the customer on pricing, available quantities, shipping terms, and special customer requirements.
- Assist in the development and distribution of weekly price lists.
- Run reports and maintain real-time sales data to effectively control inventory and sales order volumes.
- Assist with credit process, i.e. process new item setup requests, assist with account collections, statements, and other accounts receivables that may apply.
- Participate actively in vendor meetings as well as company meetings.
Minimum Requirements :
- Education High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience One to two years of customer service
