Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assist the subject matter expert (SME) on large scale implementations of medium to high complexity
  • Act as an advisor on best practices for designing a robust architecture to enable the business
  • Maintain industry leading knowledge of current and emerging technologies, products, and trends related to Active Directory architecture and management
  • Participating in the definition and assisting programs that support the enterprise strategy and architecture for secure access management services, mechanisms and safeguards
  • Work in active partnership with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop supporting security principles and objectives that will enable the secure growth and evolution of UnitedHealth Group (and communicating those requirements to security and risk management
  • stakeholders throughout the enterprise)
  • Contributing to consistent patterns and frameworks to evolve the company’s security architecture and a clear, comprehensive security framework (and promoting those requirements through partnership with enterprise architecture and IT governance functions)
  • Providing consulting to business owners and application teams in addressing their requirements to connect their application(s) or service(s) to Active Directory
  • Participating in the 12x7 On-Call rotation supporting the Active Directory infrastructure
  • Recommending changes, when appropriate, to security policies and control standards and operational practices

Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience designing, managing, or maintaining Active Directory environments for a large enterprise, or as a consultant to large organizations
  • 8+ years of maintaining backend Active Directory infrastructure analyzing Active Directory performance metrics
  • 8+ years of experience with Active Directory authentication protocols
  • 8+ years of experience of capturing of network tracing, Active Directory performance captures
  • Proven knowledge of AD architecture, infrastructure, platform, and data security

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID Connect services
  • Specific experience in architecture, engineering, deployment and / or operational management of enterprise access management solution
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM, Hyper-V, and / or SQL
  • Experience with Quest InTrust, Change Auditor, Enterprise Reporter, GPO Admin, and / or Active Roles Server
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only : The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
