Warehouse Associate - Day Shift (Diamond Hill Plywood) ($18.15/hr+)

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate for our day shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm / Monday-Friday (Overtime Required As Busi ness Dictates)

Responsibilities

• Performs safety check on equipment prior to operating including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher
• Identifies products to be transported inventory receiving tallies
• Operates forklift to pull, move, and load products onto DHP or customer trucks for delivery (manually moves or loads products as necessary)
• Operates forklift to unload trucks placing incoming products in designated warehouse locations
• Assist other forklift operators and truck / tractor drivers in manually loading or unloading products
• Maintains warehouse and grounds in safe, neat, and orderly manner and comply with company safety procedures
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required to meet the operational needs of the warehouse

Our products are large, bulky building materials that require special handling and physically moving product (Up to 75 lbs).

This is not a typical pick / pack operation.

Ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing / distribution or operations oriented environment, though we are willing to train a candidate with no experience if they demonstrate our company's core values.
