What You’ll Do
- Develops and oversees the nursing staff to ensure adequate nursing services throughout the area of responsibility.
- Identifies psychiatric nursing system issues and develops actionable solutions to identified problems.
- In conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer and Associate Chief Medical Officer, coordinates services between MDs / APRNs / PAs and Psychiatric Nurses.
- Responsible for developing utilization review and quality assurance review for Psychiatric Nurses.
- Works in collaboration with Clinical Managers to integrate nursing services among interdisciplinary teams.
- Responsible for continuous quality improvement of psychiatric nursing services.
- Is knowledgeable of, and responsible for, assuring that all nursing service functions are compliant within the framework of federal and state laws, state licensing, and other applicable regulations.
- Assesses nursing services for safety, effectiveness, and efficiency and implements quality improvement measures as needed to ensure success in these areas.
- Develops procedures and protocols to direct and standardize nursing functions and practices.

- Full-Time, Exempt
- Pay Range is between $85,637 - $110,828 (depending on experience)
- In addition to base salary there are opportunities to earn up to $17,000 in annual incentives each year based on achievement of individual and organizational goals

What We Need from You
You’re a Licensed Registered Nurse for Alaska with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing and five years of experience as a psychiatric nurse with two years of experience in a leadership position.
