Litigation Paralegal
Project Recruit has partnered with a top-rated regional multidisciplinary law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal, a self-starter and proactive team player who can work in a fast-paced work environment.
The right candidate will be well versed in the discovery process, cite-checking and Shepardizing, and E-filing in federal and state courts.
Responsibilities :
- The paralegal will draft cover letters and other correspondence related to litigation matters.
- The paralegal will maintain organization, management and updates to client files / pleadings both electronically and on paper.
- The paralegal will index and summarize documents and depositions.
- The paralegal will do basic legal and factual research.
- The paralegal will provide discovery and substantive motion support, such as drafting and preparing.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word & Excel, and ADOBE Acrobat Professional
- Excellent, organizational, communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
