This is a beautiful hotel with an award-winning record of accomplishment. We have a well-tenured management team, which runs this very busy hotel and convention center in an exceptional manner with high standards, expectations, and strong results orientation.
Our beautiful hotel is 300 suites, with 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting, pre-function, and event space and includes a restaurant, lounge, and gift shop market.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for final review of the daily income audit and PMS Account balances and balance sheet reconciliations to include such duties as posting, auditing, reconciling and preparing reports.
Additional duties include :
- Assist the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department Income Audit & Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Primary attention to the daily income audit and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Verify PMS and POS system postings
- Assist in the preparation of month-end journal entries, bank account reconciliation, and financial reports
- Assist with reconciliations of daily and monthly credit card and Bank accounts
- Manage, reconcile and inventory all gift certificates issued by the hotel
- Assist as needed with inventories and cost calculations
- Handle any special project assigned on an as-need basis and maintain an attitude of helpfulness and cooperation with all departments / areas of the hotel operation
- Conduct and coordinate the work in a manner conductive to performance and
- Accurately research / track & resolve customer service / professional inquiries
- Maintain proper controls and confidentiality over documents
- Manage spreadsheets
- Filing
- Answer phones and handle inquiries accordingly
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Comply with all policies and standard operating procedures
- Report all system problems to management
- Perform additional duties as necessary
