JobSummary

TheEnergy Services Drafter will use an architect s and industryspecifications to create detailed drawings for buildings structuresand projects.

3 / 2 hybrid schedule (Tuesday Thursday in the officeMonday and Friday WFH) with minimal weekdaytravel.

JobDescription

• Usescomputeraided drafting (CAD) software to create fullscale anddetailed designs of buildings and interiors from an architect sroughdrawings.
• Studiesbuilding codes and regulations and determines how they will affectarchitecturaldesigns.
• Organizescivil structural electrical and mechanicaldesigns.
• Drawsplans for foundations buildings and structures based oninstructions provided by engineers andarchitects.
• Visitsjob sites to gather data needed to completedesigns.
• Determinesthe types of materials needed and calculates the quantity to beordered.
• Workingwith an architect generates cost estimates contracts and otherdocuments required for individualprojects.
• Performsother duties asassigned.

Requirements

• Excellentproblemsolvingskills.
• Extensiveknowledge of CAD software and other architectural draftingtools.
• Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills.
• EducationandExperience :
• Associates degree in Drafting isrequired.
• Threeyears of related experience isrequired.
• PhysicalRequirements :
• Prolongedperiods sitting at a desk and working on acomputer.
• Mustbe able to access and navigate all areas of constructionsites.
• Mustbe able to lift up to 15 pounds attimes.

Education and Experience : Associate s degree in Drafting is required. Three years of relatedexperience is required. Physical Requirements : Prolonged periodssitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to accessand navigate all areas of construction sites. Must be able to liftup to 15 pounds at times.
