The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and five years of experience in electrical construction inspection and design experience for infrastructure construction projects.
A Valid P.E. License & Valid OSHA 10 Certificate will also be needed

15+ years of experience in the design of utility high voltage power systems, transmission planning, or an associated field in the consulting or utility industry.
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from an recognized accredited institution.
Thorough knowledge of electric power system network analysis, transmission planning and assessment techniques.
Proficient in performing load flow, short circuit, and transient stability studies in any of the following programs : PSS / E, PSLF, ASPEN, and TARA.
Proficient in the application of NERC and Transmission Planner / Planning Coordinator planning reliability standards and criteria.
Proficient with the application of IEEE and IEC standards in the design and study transmission and generation facilities.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to travel to attend stakeholder meetings, working groups and conferences.
Desirable qualities include :
Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer licensure
Participation in stakeholder and industry committee activities
Experience in performing electromagnetic transient analysis (PSCAD / EMTDC, ATP, EMTP-RV)
Experience performing PSS / E and PSCAD dynamic model tuning and development
Experience in writing equipment specification
Experience in harmonic and GIC analysis
Knowledge in Python and EPCL programming
