Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting Vitronic project-based software solutions.
- Utilize multi-threaded, legacy, ANSI C, C++, as well as various programming languages, to create complete custom software solutions to provide interfaces between Vitronic software and customers.
- Utilize GIT and Visual Studio VC10 / 2017 to setup new project software, making modifications to existing code, and configuring XML.
- Modify existing simulators and existing interfaces with code level changes.
- Write functions with predefined requirements and test that code.
- Analyze and correct errors of complex problems on site or via remote maintenance.
- Collaborate with the team in Germany on projects and troubleshooting.
- Be self-motivated and take initiative to problem solve issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in C++
- Minimum 3 years engineering experience
- Demonstrated proficiency programming with a QWERTY keyboard
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Position requires ability to use computer, electrical, mechanical, and safety equipment. Reaching equipment requires climbing ladders and stairs at times.
- This role requires minimal travel domestically and internationally. Some locations have specific security background checks, drug testing, and vaccination requirements.
