What we're looking for :
We are seeking a full-time, Floating Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in the Greater Columbus area. As a Floating Maintenance Technician at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for :
- Floating to the properties within our Columbus portfolio as needed to trouble-shoot resident service issues including, HVAC, general appliance work, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Ensuring the completion of all market-ready apartments, emergency and non-emergency service requests, various maintenance activities, and community inspections
- Responding to maintenance work orders and following up with residents and office staff
- Working with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that both the interior and exterior of the property meet company standards
- Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm with emergency on-call rotation as designated by the Property Manager
The ideal Maintenance Technician will have :
- 1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- HVAC certification is a plus!
- A valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
